Taiwanese pop star, Rainie Yang recently celebrated her 29th birthday by joining the micro-blogging scene, signing up for a Weibo account for the first time.
According to Jayne Stars website, the singer made a surprise appearance on Sina Weibo dashboard and posted the message, "Happy birthday to me... I'm finally here!"
Together with the post, Rainie attached a photo of herself in a makeup room, holding up a "victory" sign with her hands, as well as a photo of her tiny chocolate-flavoured birthday cake.
The post was welcomed by over 25,000 reblogs and 24,000 comments, including congratulatory remarks from good friend, Angela Chang who wrote, "I thought I was late in joining Weibo; never thought that you would be even later than me! Haha! Also, Happy Birthday!"
Meanwhile, Rainie's rumored boyfriend, JPM's Prince also reblogged Rainie's message and congratulate her saying, "Welcome. Happy Birthday!"
At the current time, Rainie's Weibo has already attracted over one million followers.
