Taiwanese actress Chen Mei Feng was surprised and ecstatic to see F4 member Jerry Yan at her birthday party, reported China News.

On 2 July, the actress and several of her close friends were celebrating her 57th birthday, when the actor, together with actor Lin You Wei, entered the venue with a cake on a trolley.

"I didn't expect Jerry to show up because I thought he was filming in Beijing," the actress enthused, and revealed that they knew each other through a mutual friend in 2011.

When asked about his sudden appearance, Jerry said, "Sister Mei Feng treats me very well all these years. Since I happen to be back in Taiwan for a bit, I decided to come and celebrate her birthday."

The delighted female guests at the party also used the opportunity to take photos with the actor, who respectfully obliged, seeing that it made Mei Feng happy.

The birthday bash that ended at 3am was also attended by Mei Feng's friends from the industry that include Pauline Lam, Ou Di, Fang Wenlin and Wang Cai Hua.
