Jam Hsiao's stalker explains soup controversy

Following reports of her obsessed behaviour with the Taiwanese singer, the infamous Japanese Jam Hsiao fan, Yuki, recently held a press conference to clarify the issue.

According to Yes Entertainment, on 28 July, Yuki, whose real name is Kageyama Tomonori, was accompanied by her lawyer when she stressed that she meant no harm with her behaviour towards Jam.

Yuki stated, "I met Jam for the first time in Xiamen last March. I became a fan after watching his performance and decided to sponsor his concert. I even gave out free tickets to the disabled."

Yuki denied allegations that she used the investment, a total of NTD 9 million (USD 300,701), in order to have a dinner date with Jam. When being told that there was proof that she did make the arrangement, Yuki changed her statement and said that she didn't know her secretary contacted Jam for the meeting.

In regards to reports that she showed up at Jam's doorstep carrying a pot of soup and harassed the singer by constantly pushing the doorbell in the middle of the night, she replied, "I read on his micro blog that he was injured during a basketball game, so I brought the soup to him. I thought that since we saw each other often, we are considered friends."

To the statement made by Jam's manager Summer that Yuki has been harassing Jam for nearly half a year, the teary-eyed Yuki said, "I have a lot of respect for Jam and only asked for a photo and handshake when we meet. But people misunderstood me as a lunatic."

Meanwhile, Summer recently responded to Yuki's comments, "We can't be bothered with her actions. We only ask of her to respect herself."
