Lee Hom reconsiders contract with Sony

The popular singer-songwriter is unhappy to have Show Luo on board Sony Music Entertainment.

According to Taiwanese media reports, singers Show Luo and Elva Hsiao have officially joined American music company, Sony Music Entertainment today.

Word has it that Lee Hom, a fellow artist under Sony for 14 years, was unhappy with the company's arrangement for Show. Apart from spending a total of TW$50 million (about S$2.12 million) to recruit the 34-year-old singer, Sony is also scheduling a collaboration with overseas artists for the singer's next album.

Feeling neglected by his company, Lee hom is reportedly contemplating an early termination of his contract.

The 37-year old star was said to be at loggerheads with Show ever since an argument in 2009. Back then, Lee Hom hinted that the Mandopop singer has been paying his way to the top spot of the weekly album charts.

In response to Lee Hom's accusations, Show challenged the older singer to release and publicise their albums on the same day so as to prove his innocence.
