Elva Hsiao admits relationship with Kai Ko?

The Taiwanese pop idol let slip about her relationship with young actor, Kai Ko at Sony's press conference yesterday

Taiwanese pop idols, Elva Hsiao and Show Luo are the newest members of Sony Music Entertainment's big family. According to media reports, the American music company was said to have spent TW$50 million (about S$2.12 million) to recruit the two popular singers.

Besides the generous monetary investment, Sony also promised the duo a world tour and international movie opportunities during a press conference in Beijing yesterday.

Turning 34 soon, Elva was dressed in a deep V-neck gown for the event. Responding to recent rumours about her shaky relationship with 21-year-old Kai Ko, the singer smiled and revealed, 'Everything has been quite smooth. I even wrote a song recently which he (refers to Kai) has already seen and have given me some comments.'

Although the pair has constantly denied their romance in the past, Elva was rather open when asked to share Kai's criticisms.

'Well, I am not an unreasonable girlfriend,' she said.

Noting that she has revealed a little too much, Elva digressed to talk about her movie plans. The singer turned actress said that she is ready to take up any suitable roles except those that require intimate bed scenes. Her reason was not due to Kai's disapproval but to save embarrassing herself in front of her young nephew, Kingston.
