The Taiwanese songstress claimed in a recent interview that she was two-timed by Jay Chou
Years after the 'Double J' split, Jolin Tsai talks about her past relationship with Jay Chou for the very first time, during a recent radio interview hosted by Matilda Tao. While telling her story, the singer also revealed that she took one year to move on from the break-up.

Although the two did not go public, they were, according to Jolin, in a stable relationship until Jay met Patty Hou in February 2005. At that time, the multi-hyphenate had apparently denied two-timing Jolin when the latter questioned him, after rumours of his infidelity surfaced.

Soon after, Jay and Patty's romance came to light after a photo of the ex-couple travelling in Tokyo was published. Jolin said that she hesitated in breaking up with him even after the incident was exposed, as she 'could not bear to let go and was thinking of ways to salvage the relationship'. The two eventually went on separate ways after Jay initiated the split.

Admitting that she 'hated' the Jay-Patty couple, Jolin shared how she would avoid running into her ex-beau at work back then. The 'Double J' pairing has been revived on several occasions in recent years, a sign that the two had buried the hatchet, now that both of them have found their respective partners while Patty is happily married.

When asked if she still feels animosity towards Jay, Jolin let on that she does not mind sharing the stage with him anymore and said, 'I know his personality very well. We're comfortable as friends now.'
