The TV personality and his wife will hold the banquet next month
After three tumultuous years, Taiwanese entertainer Nono and his singer girlfriend Zhu Hai Jun finally registered their marriage a month ago.

The couple's wedding photos were released yesterday and 42-year-old Nono was reported to have started visiting a Chinese physician for weight loss advice, after his wife told him that “wedding photos are memories of a lifetime”. It is said that Hai Jun does not want to feel a sense of regret when she looks at the pictures in future.

Although the
well-loved comedian now weighs 90kg after losing 5kg successfully, he hopes to achieve his ideal weight of 88kg before his big day.

Nono also said that it is important to be rational during wedding preparations as “differences in opinion are inevitable”. “Everything is okay, as long as my wife is happy,” he added.

For Nono, the bigger problem at hand is the guest list. He confided, saying, “I can't let people think that I'm sending the invites at random. I don't know if I should invite those whom I don't contact often.”

“It's really troubling me,” sighed Nono, who also expressed his wish to “let nature take its course” when asked on their baby-making plans.

Nono first met Hai Jun, 15 years his junior, at a work event in 2010. The couple's plans to get married last year were delayed after Hai Jun's mum objected to the union, quoting the singer's budding career as reason. Early April, the comedian announced that the banquet will be held on July 12.
