     Alicia Augello Cook is an American singer and is better known by her stage name as Alicia Keys.  Her debut album was released in 2001 called "Songs in a Mirror" and it was an international success as it sold over 12 million copies worldwide.  Alicia won 5 Grammy Awards in 2002 including "Song of the Year" for her single, "Fallin."  In 2003, she released her second album, "The Diary of Alicia Keys" has sold over 8 million copies and it has landed her another 4 Grammy Awards.  VH1 listed her on the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time."


      Alicia Keys' amazing success is no surprise because she has amazing vocals along with a pretty face.  She learned playing the piano when she was 7 years old and was voted as a valedictorian from the Professional Performing Arts School.  Alicia is the co-founder and Global Ambassador of Keep a Child Alive.  It's a non profit organization that provides assistance to the families who are living with HIV and AIDS in Africa.  Her top singles includes songs such as No One, If I Ain't Got You, Karma, and You Don't Know My Name.  Alicia Keys has released a total of 5 albums and has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. She is set to released her sixth album sometime in 2012.
